LiNGERiE iS NO LONGER ONLY FOR THE BEDROOM!

Dior & Lady Gaga are to blame for this one!
& personally. . . . .
i couldn't be happier!
Since last year, i have been pretty well known within my school for wearing vintage nighties as dresses.
Teamed with long pearls, black stockings, frilly socks, blazer jackets, ballet flats & oversided bows. . .
i feel at home!

Bonjour!

So, this is my first Blog entry ever. & i think it safe to start by introducing myself in more detail. . .

My name is Beau. I am a Sixteen year old girl from Victoria, Australia (& for anyone overseas, no, we do not all ride around on Kangaroos & live in the middle of nowhere). I am a Year Eleven student now (a senior!!!!), undertaking a range of subjects from Year Twelve Psychology, Math Methods, Literature, English, History & Studio Art Fashion :D !!!!!
I am me, & i love it.
I am lucky enough to attend one of the very few schools in Australia that do not have a school uniform policy & i love the freedom of not being singled out to the school you attend. I love the individuality it allows the students to explore & express. I love that everyone has their own styles & i especially love people saying "you look very. . . . (insert; indie, preppy, cute, french, vintage, blair waldorf) today!" :)
I love the responsibility & maturity going to my school gives you. Waking up at 7am, having to leave my house by 7:45am to walk a Kilometer to the train station to catch the same 8:08am train, to catch the 8:35 bus to school. This amount of travel any other time, i would be sure to complain about . . . but i am doing everything i love! Psychology, two loads of English, designing & creating wearable art. Life is bliss.
However, i am STILL a teenager.
More so, living in the Twenty First Century.
I face all the dramas and have all the same insecurities as teenagers all over the world face.
I have been through the parent separation, i've also had the psychotic step father. I've been the victim of bullying & self image problems & not to forget peer pressure.
There are two ways you can come out of that dark place in life.
1) a better, wiser, happier, mature, directed, stonger person.
2) angry, bitter, vengeful, lost & unsettled.
You ask many teenagers what they want to do with their lives once they leave school . . . many of them simply cannot answer it. That thought is beyond them. My problem; i have too much ambition.
I want to travel. I want to go to University & study Psychology, i want to study Paramedics & Journalism, Fashion Designing, Nursing. . . I want to Model for the cover of Vogue magazine. I want to be on Fashion TV & parade beautiful garnments by the worlds Top Designers in Paris Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week, London & New York! I want to cure cancer & feed the starving children of the world. I want to write books for Teenagers giving them hope, giving them the strength to say 'no' to that first Cigarette that lead to a second which lead to the first joint, to the first ectasy pill to the seventeenth stranger they have woken up next to. . . I want to know, that i have seen it all, experienced life in it's richest form & saved lives & given people reasons to live another day.
:)
